Built From a Love of Storytelling
Smolyn Productions was created by Amanda Smolyn, a filmmaker, videographer, photographer, and storyteller with a passion for bringing real stories to life.
Amanda began her journey into film in 2010, studying acting and later completing Film Production studies at Capilano University. After gaining experience working on film sets, she began expanding her skills into sports media and videography in 2023.
Today, Smolyn Productions has grown beyond traditional photography and filming from the sidelines into creative media production, creating sports content, mini documentaries, promotional videos, social media content, and visual stories for businesses, organizations, teams, and communities.
A Creative Partnership
Amanda is supported by her husband and business partner, Nick Smolyn, a Vancouver Film School graduate with nearly two decades of experience in the VFX and 3D film industry. His experience as a Senior Layout Artist brings an additional film and visual storytelling perspective to the company.
Together, we bring a combination of creative storytelling, production experience, and a passion for visual media to every project.
